Optical Software

APEX® is a new type of optical engineering program, available as an add-in to the industry-standard SolidWorks 3D-modeling environment. With the full power and sophistication of SolidWorks, APEX enables the design and analysis of even the most complex optical and illumination systems with a simple, easy-to-follow workflow.

The Advanced Systems Analysis Program (ASAP®) is the industry standard in optical engineering software, and has been for over 20 years. The popularity of ASAP is due to the software's comprehensiveness and accuracy. ASAP has the functionality to solve the toughest problems for any industry using optics as an enabling technology.

ReflectorCAD® is a sophisticated reflector design software package designed specifically for the automotive industry. ReflectorCAD makes quick work out of your segmented reflector jobs, and lets you test for compliance with SAE and ECE standards using an optional ASAP/ELTM module.

Engineering Services

BRO provides optical engineering services for companies requiring optical design solutions that outperform the competition. Clients include Agilent, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, NASA, and many other recognized names in industry.

BRO offers contract design and analysis services, prototype fabrication, custom software development, and contract manufacturing of complex and novel optical and electro-optical systems.
