The Southern Arizona Tech Council started merging its business-development functions into the region's new economic-development agency, Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities, Inc. (TREO). BRO founder Robert Breault, co-chairman of the Arizona Optics Association, told the newspaper that science business clusters will benefit from a more focused TREO effort, while maintaining their own independent voices.
