Bruker Nano Surfaces Division decided to keep the company in Tucson after it recently bought up local firm Veeco Instruments. Vice president and general manager of Bruker's Tucson operation, Robert Loiterman, said the decision to stay in Tucson was partly based on the long-time relationship with the UA and the optics industry.
