Save Time with the BRO Light Source Library

The BRO Light Source Library, available to ASAP® and ReflectorCAD® customers with current software maintenance agreements, is a growing collection of more than 180 U.S. and European source models that can be imported directly into users' projects. The BRO Light Source Library reduces planning and prototyping costs by eliminating the need to scan, measure, and model industry sources.

ASAP users may control the source's coordinate positioning, axis alignment, and trace settings with the new BRO Light Source Library Wizard. ReflectorCAD users may position source distribution files in their reflector design projects using the ReflectorCAD user interface.

Precision Sources

BRO's source models are extremely accurate, both geometrically and photometrically, including complete spectral information when appropriate. The source models contain the actual optical and mechanical geometry from the source, which is necessary for accurate and thorough analysis. Light can be reflected, refracted, or scattered by the source geometry. BRO's source models properly account for these optical interactions, which can cause unwanted stray light in optical systems.
