Anisotropic Scatter (Model Image)
An anisotropic Harvey scatter model applied to an optical surface representing the hubcap of a car wheel. It has a turned surface with concentric grooves. The hubcap could be made more realistic by bounding it with edges or tubes. Another Harvey and a Lambertian model were applied to the tire and grooves. The ASAP command RENDER MODELS allows viewing all 3 scatter models used. The final view point of the rendering depends on geometry orientation, view angle, and light source position settings.
